This is course is for students who wish to become skilled in spoken communication in English. This means speaking fluently, with a high degree of precision, and with a near-standard pronunciation. You will also practise expressing yourself eloquently and with control of the tone. We will achieve this through exposure to rich authentic visual and audio material as well as by performing a variety of speaking tasks, e.g. classroom discussions, debates, and oral reports. As part of the course, you will give a presentation, and there is a speaking test at the end.
