Deutsch für AnfängerInnen / German for Beginners (A1.1), Gruppe A
SWS: 4
ECTS: 6
Einstufungstest: Nicht erforderlich / Placement Test: Not necessary
This face-to-face course is for members of Philipps-University with no knowledge in German. This course concentrates on sub-level A1.1, intending to continue on to sub-level 2 in the following semester. We will work with the textbook Das Leben A1.1 and will cover the first 7 to 8 lessons (Publisher: Cornelsen, ISBN 978-3-06-121966-6 or 978-3-06-122089-1 for the complete book). That way, we will practice all four skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing). In order to achieve satisfying learning results, you should be able to invest an average 1-2 hours per week for out of class work. Certificate requirements: Assignments on ILIAS, regular attendance in class, plus a final exam.
You will therefore need an ILIAS account and will receive information on how to access the relevant ILIAS course from your teacher in the first session.
This class is for real beginners only! If you have learned German before, you must do a placement test before you can register for one of the other classes.
The course fees below are specified according to your status:
- Members of Philipps-University Marburg (with the exception of exchange students)
- External participants from outside Philipps-University
Exchange students can book the German classes free of charge. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the correct exchange program as "status" (Erasmus, Erasmus+ Partnerländer, Freemover, Overseas) during the online registration.
